This paper undertakes a new study that reviews international actions to safeguard green technology and how they pertain to the legal structure of developing countries particularly Pakistan. Drawing from research published up to year 2024, this research considers the most important global legal frameworks, IPR structures, and technology dissemination procedures that are necessary for protection of green technologies. It also provides a comprehensive look at how Pakistan currently treats the issue from a legal perspective, where there is a focus on the difficulties currently facing this field and the new legal approaches that will enhance the development of green technology. The study emphasizes on increasing the capacity of such countries as Pakistan to be active participants in the global sustainability processes. These findings provide useful recommendations for policymakers, legal scholars, and international organizations, providing lessons learnt from current positive developments in environmental law and technology.
